Andon Toshev Iliev
Andon Toshev Iliev, also known as Done Stojanov and Doncho Shtipjancheto, born in 1867 in the village of Erdzheli(ja) (Shtip area, now in Sveti Nikole Municipality) in the family of Mita and Stojan (Toshe) Iliev. Done was an activist and courier of VMORO (IMARO), close to Goce Delchev. As a child his family moved in Shtip, and later he moved to Kyustendil where he lived with his wife and kids until his death. At the request of the Revolutionary district of Bitola Done accepted to deliver bombs and ammunition, which he concealed in bags of rice. On April 7, 1896 near the Church of Sv. Nedela in Bitola the Turkish karakols found out the bombs and Done was arrested. In prison he was tortured to tell where he found the bombs, who gave them to him, and for what purpose. Done suffered all tortures and didn't give the secret away. He was sentenced to life imprisonment, but later amnestied. Andon Toshev died on April 15, 1931 in Kyustendil.
Dona Kovacheva
Dona (Donka) Kovacheva, known as grandma Dona and Komunata, born in 1855 in the village of Paralovo (Bosilegrad area), an accomplice of VMORO (IMARO). Her house in Kyustendil was used ​​in favor of the organization, there were stored and hidden weapons, there gathered, ate, and slept over the activists of VMORO. Among the visitors there were Goce Delchev, Dame Gruev, Pere Toshev, Gjorche Petrov and many others. In her house for a couple of years lived Doncho Shtipjancheto. Grandma Dona died in 1926 in Kyustendil.
