Crno mu bilo pishano

(A song about the Lerin area voivode Aleksandar Turundzhev)
Crno mu bilo pishano - sung by Nikola Badev

Crno mu bilo pishano
na Aleksandre Turundzhev -
shesnajs-godishen vojvoda,
na sedumnajsta go fanaja.

Go turija vo zandani,
vo tija tesni dolapi;
chifte belegzii na race
i droben sindzhir na gusha.

Telegram dojde od Stambol
za Aleksandre Turundzhev -
da si ja vidi nevestata
i svoite drobni dechinja.

Go izvedova At-pazar,
mu ja kazhaja besilkata.
Seto se v Bitola rasplaka
za Aleksandre Turundzhev.
